Hi Reader
Europe's Best Luxe-for-Less Escapes
Being based in the UK, one of the questions we get asked most often is:
"Where can I travel in Europe without spending a fortune?"
The good news is you don't always need a luxury budget to enjoy beautiful places, fantastic food and memorable experiences.
Whether you're planning a holiday, combining travel with remote work, or fitting in a house sit along the way, here are three European destinations that offer a high-end feel without the eye-watering prices.
💛Albanian Riviera
If you love crystal-clear water, beach cafés and Mediterranean sunsets, the Albanian Riviera is hard to beat. Coastal towns like Himarë, Ksamil and Dhërmi offer stunning scenery, fresh seafood and boutique stays that often cost far less than similar destinations in Greece or Italy. It's quickly becoming one of Europe's best-value coastal escapes.
💛Montenegro
Think dramatic mountains, medieval old towns and breathtaking bays. Places like Kotor and Perast feel wonderfully luxurious, yet accommodation and dining can still be surprisingly affordable compared with many neighbouring destinations. Montenegro is one of those places that feels far more expensive than it actually is.
💛Kraków, Poland
Not every summer trip has to revolve around the beach. Kraków is one of Europe's best-value city breaks, with beautiful architecture, lively market squares, excellent restaurants and plenty to explore on foot. It's ideal if you're looking for culture, great food and a destination where your travel budget stretches further.
The best trips aren't always the most expensive ones.
Sometimes they're simply the ones where your money stretches a little further, giving you the freedom to stay longer, experience more and enjoy the journey.
